Fawke in 'ell!

On January 31, 1606, Guy Fawkes was hanged, drawn and quartered for his part in the Gunpowder Plot, an attempt to blow up British Parliament.

In Britain, 5 November has been called Guy Fawkes Night or Bonfire Night ever since; the latter can be traced directly back to the original celebration of 5 November 1605. Bonfires were accompanied by fireworks from the 1650s onwards, and it became the custom to burn an effigy of Fawkes.

Guy Fawkes is sometimes toasted as "the last man to enter Parliament with good intentions".

What's this got to do with rock & roll? Well, this Thursday 31 January, Rockin Dave will be setting the woods on fire (not literally), at Midnight Rock, Angeles City at 8pm (ish)!
