In October 1998, Dave was engaged to play at the Cannes TV Festival by a US cable TV network, HBO. He performed there with the 8 piece Italian band The Good Fellas. The show was such a success that Dave and The Good Fellas were booked to appear at the launching of Austin Powers’ The Spy Who Shagged MeSteven Spielberg, Sean Connery, Val Kilmer, Charles Bronson, Mick Jagger, Sir Richard Branson among others.
